To make matters worse, there are a lot of rumors about the McRib and what it may (or may not) contain. It would be incredibly difficult for McDonald's to create more McRib-style products, because that cult following is very difficult to replicate. When it comes to calories, McRib is quite on par with other McDonald's menu items, such as 540 calories from Big Mac and 390 calories from Filet-o-Fish.
